My few of my favorite things: videos on the internet

I am on the internet A LOT. Part of my  job is to look for weird stuff on the web and then, if it fits what I’m looking for, contact the people who posted it. I obviously get distracted often and end up coming across some pretty awesome stuff, here’s just a couple of fun videos some recent, some really old.

Glove and Boots

This isn’t even my favorite videos of theirs but it’s an important message. One of the reasons I want to start video consulting is to help put a stop to vertical video. (I’m only partially kidding about that). When I worked on the show Full Force Nature and was looking for clips to potentially be on the show I would DIE a little inside every time I saw a great clip shot vertically. Anyway, Glove and Boots are hysterical and I’ve subscribed and look forward to their videos every week.

These cats

I JUST found this, I can see that it’s pretty popular and was published in September so it’s not new, but I don’t care, it’s my new favorite cat video.

This really old Homestar Runner Clip

Any of you remember HomeStar Runner? I remember a roommate in college introducing this crazy webcomic to me and we watched nearly all the Strong Bad emails that were made. When I met John and made reference to this cartoon and he knew of it that solidified that we were meant to be together forever. This particular episode comes up all the time because I’m constantly saying “I don’t know what I’m doing with my life!” to which I always get the response, maybe become a male model? or get into high finance? Love, people, that’s what I’ve got over here.

The Journey TV’s Save the 10s

This video cracks me up. While ECCF isn’t super strict about this, I remember fellow FitFluential Ambassador Scott at StoneWay completely cringing when anyone would drop a 45# bar with only 10s on it, and rightfully so. Watch the video to see why. Save the 10s folks.

That’s all I’ve got right now. Feel free to share some of your favorite videos that you’ve come across on the internet in the comments.

  1. I don’t watch a lot of videos but my favorite will probably always be Charlie and Candy Mountain. :)
